I would 100% recommend getting your pony gelded! Not onmly will he possibly be easier to handle it will be easier to board him ( most stallions need private turnout) AND there will be NO risk of possibly producing an unwanted baby. We all know how many horses go to slaughter every year- there aren't enough homes for them all- let's not breed more unless they are the top 1% AND have homes waiting!! Regarding Height- once a equine hits 14.3 (14.2 for some breeds ) hands it is considered a horse, less then 14.3 hands is a pony. There is some details about horses/ponoies who are exactly 14.3 but I dont remeber it offhand. Hope this helps! -bsg-
